We’re proud to be partnering with BG&E on the search for a newly created Associate Director – Civil position. This is a rare opportunity to step into a senior leadership position within BG&E’s civil team, where you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping strategy, mentoring future leaders, and driving strong client relationships. The role requires proven expertise across the full project lifecycle, from bidding and design management through to delivery and completion, and will suit a leader with the vision and technical capability to influence outcomes on major projects.
Key Experience Required:
- Proven track record delivering major road and highway projects, with strong technical capability and leadership of design teams, including mentoring and development.
- Experience leading multi-disciplinary design teams, mentoring staff, and fostering collaborative, high-performance cultures.
- Demonstrated ability to manage the full project lifecycle – from concept design and bidding through to detailed design, delivery, and completion.
- Strong business development capability with a focus on building enduring client relationships and driving new opportunities.
- Commercial acumen in bidding, proposals, risk management, and financial oversight, with the ability to grow client accounts and win work.
- Recognised industry presence, with the ability to represent the firm at client forums, project boards, and industry events to build credibility and reputation.
