Lead Australia’s Renewable Energy Revolution with Engie
PARTNER is working closely with Engie to identify the Operations and Maintenance Manager who will lead the successful delivery and ongoing operations of Australia’s first large-scale renewable hydrogen plant, the Yuri Project. This pivotal role provides the opportunity to drive operational excellence and contribute to the future of clean energy.
About Engie
Engie is a global energy sector leader committed to accelerating the transition to a carbon-neutral world. With innovative renewable energy and sustainable infrastructure projects, Engie is creating solutions that make a lasting environmental and social impact.
The Yuri Project
The Yuri Project is a landmark development and a critical step in positioning Australia as a renewable energy exporter. Located in the Pilbara, this industrial-scale renewable hydrogen project is a partnership between Engie and Mitsui, with funding from ARENA and the WA Renewable Hydrogen Fund.
Once operational, the Yuri Project will produce up to 640 tones of renewable hydrogen annually as a zero-carbon feedstock for Yara Pilbara Fertilisers’ ammonia operations. Featuring a 10 MW electrolyser powered by 18 MW of solar PV and supported by an 8 MW battery energy storage system, the project will pioneer large-scale renewable hydrogen production and set a benchmark for sustainability in energy.
